Tableware collection

My series of patterned tableware including vases, dishes and napkin rings have been influenced by textiles to create textured surfaces, which explore the glass’s ability to catch and reflect light. The functional forms are distorted, depicting the fluidity of the hot glass process.
I plan to continue designing and making, using each process to influence and guide the other. Although I have a passion for glass, I am also excited by the possibilities other materials have to offer.
